It is also with a chewy texture and an all around intense flavor. The shiitake mushrooms are extremely rich in vitamins which are great immune system boosters. They are with cholesterol-lowering, anti-tumor and virus-inhibiting effects as well. And the shiitake mushroom can help us lower total blood cholesterol.
